Terms of Use

Here, we explain the most important rules and guidelines to ensure that your experience on our VeeDoo platform is safe and enjoyable.

1 Scope

These Terms of Use govern the use of the VeeDoo digital platform.

The platform is operated by VeeDoo On-Demand Human Help GmbH & Co. KG, hereinafter referred to as “VeeDoo”.

These terms apply to all users of the platform. Users can use the platform in two roles:

  • Needer – People seeking services or assistance
  • Service providers – individuals or companies that offer services

By registering, users agree to these Terms of Use.

2 Description of the platform

VeeDoo is a digital platform for connecting people with services.

In particular, the platform enables:

  • Creating orders
  • Volunteers applying for assignments
  • Matching between users
  • Communication via the platform
  • Rating system
  • BEATS Status System
  • Payment processing via external payment service providers

VeeDoo simply provides the technical infrastructure.

The contract for a specific service is entered into exclusively between Needer and Helper.

VeeDoo is not the provider of the services offered.

3 Registration and User Account

Registration is required to use the platform.

Users agree to:

  • provide accurate information
  • Keep your login credentials safe
  • not to transfer your account

VeeDoo may review user accounts at any time.

In general, a user may only have one account.

4 Age restrictions

Needer

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Helper

Helpers must be at least 16 years old to use the platform, provided they have parental consent.

VeeDoo may request proof of age.

5 Helpers – Individuals and Businesses

Helpers can include:

  • Individuals
  • self-employed entrepreneurs
  • Company

Certain activities may be subject to legal requirements, such as:

  • Business Registration
  • professional qualifications
  • Master craftsman's certificate or journeyman's certificate
  • regulatory approvals

Helpers are responsible for meeting these requirements.

6 Creating Orders

Clients can create orders through the platform.

An order may include:

  • Task Description
  • Place of performance
  • Date
  • Additional relevant information

Helpers can apply for posted job openings.

The Needer is free to choose which helper to select.

7 Matching

When a Needer selects a Helper, a match is created.

This match constitutes a contract between Needer and Helper.

VeeDoo is not a party to this agreement.

8 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through external payment service providers, such as Stripe.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. After a match, the payer's payment is triggered.
  2. The amount is secured through an escrow system.
  3. Once the service is completed, payment is made to the helper.

This procedure is intended to protect both parties.

9 Platform fees

VeeDoo charges a service fee for the use of the platform.

The exact amount of the fee is displayed to the user before the transaction is completed.

The fee may include costs for:

  • Payment processing
  • Platform Operations
  • technical infrastructure
  • Further development of the platform
10 Reviews

After completing a job, users can rate each other.

Reviews help promote transparency and build trust within the platform.

Manipulation or abuse of the rating system is prohibited.

11 BEATS Status System

VeeDoo operates a status system (“BEATS”).

Users can earn points by participating in activities on the platform.

The BEATS status may change due to, among other things:

  • successful projects
  • Reviews
  • Activity on the platform

VeeDoo may modify the BEATS system at any time.

12 Platform Rules

The platform must not be used in an abusive manner.

In particular, the following is prohibited:

  • to offer illegal services
  • to provide false information
  • to deceive other users
  • harassing other users
  • to use the platform to evade payments
13 Bypassing the platform

Users must not attempt to process orders outside the platform in order to avoid platform fees.

If VeeDoo determines that users are systematically attempting to circumvent the platform, VeeDoo may take action.

These include, in particular:

  • Warnings
  • Restrictions on Use
  • Suspension or deletion of user accounts
14 Communication via the platform

VeeDoo provides a chat feature for communication between Needer and Helper.

Users agree to use these features respectfully and in accordance with the law.

15 Disputes

If conflicts arise between users, they can be reported through the platform.

VeeDoo can check whether platform rules have been violated.

However, VeeDoo does not determine the quality of the content of the agreed-upon service.

16 Content moderation

VeeDoo may remove content or suspend users if they:

  • violate legal regulations
  • violate these Terms of Use
  • misuse the platform
17 Liability

VeeDoo is not liable for:

  • the provision of services
  • the quality of services
  • user behavior

Responsibility for the performance of the service lies solely with Needer and Helper.

18 Technical Availability

VeeDoo strives to ensure that the platform is available with as few disruptions as possible.

However, we cannot guarantee that it will be available at all times.

19 Changes to the platform

VeeDoo may change, expand, or discontinue platform features at any time.

20 Changes to the Terms of Use

VeeDoo may modify these Terms of Use.

Changes will be announced via the platform.

21 Privacy Policy

Information regarding the processing of personal data is set forth in the Privacy Policy.

22 Applicable Law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
