VeeDoo is built on trust.
The platform connects those in need of help with those who can provide it. Clear rules ensure that jobs are fair, payments are transparent, and processes are binding.
The most important information at a glance.
Here you'll find the most important rules and answers so that Needers and Helpers know what they're getting into.
VeeDoo is a digital platform that connects people with tasks to others who have the right skills, time, and motivation. A "Needer" creates a job. A "Helper" can accept that job or make a suitable offer.
VeeDoo is not the service provider, the contractor, or the quality inspector for each individual service. VeeDoo provides the platform to ensure that matching, payment, rules, and reviews are handled in a clearly structured manner.
- VeeDoo connects those in need with those who can help.
- VeeDoo supports clear processes and transparent rules.
- VeeDoo secures the payment process through the app.
- VeeDoo builds trust through reviews.
At VeeDoo, a job is handled in clear, straightforward steps. The requester describes what needs to be done, when, where, and at what price. Helpers can respond or make a suitable offer.
If both parties agree, the match is confirmed and the payment is securely held.
There is no open pre-match chat. This keeps the process fast, fair, and straightforward. The job should be described clearly enough that helpers immediately understand what’s required.
As soon as the match is confirmed, the chat will be activated. Then you can finalize the meeting place, details, and last-minute arrangements.
The payment is held in escrow for the duration of the match. This makes it clear to both parties: the requester has made the payment available, and the helper can be confident that the amount will be paid out upon successful completion.
Payments are processed through a secure payment provider (Stripe). VeeDoo itself does not handle any third-party funds.
- No cash payments outside the app.
- No bypassing of the platform.
- No price changes after the match.
Once the task has been completed, the helper marks the job as complete in the app. The requester can then confirm that it was completed successfully.
To do this, the transaction is confirmed using the PIN provided in the app. The Helper provides the PIN, and the Needer enters it to confirm that the transaction was successful. The payout is then initiated accordingly.
If something didn't go as agreed, the Needer can file a problem report within this time frame.
If a job didn't go as agreed, you can file a dispute through VeeDoo. The client and the helper will then have the opportunity to work together to reach a fair resolution directly in the chat.
Both parties can choose what percentage of the agreed-upon amount should be paid to the helper.
- 60% payout to the helper.
- 70% payout to the helper.
- 80% payout to the helper.
- 90% payout to the helper.
- 100% payout to the helper.
An agreement is only valid once Needer and Helper select the same percentage. Until then, both can continue to chat with each other via VeeDoo Chat and work out a solution.
Clear-cut cases, such as failure to appear, can continue to be handled in accordance with the VeeDoo rules.
After the match, the agreed-upon price is binding. There is no provision for renegotiating the price afterward. This rule protects both parties and ensures that a job remains clearly predictable in terms of cost.
- Overtime: A new job should be created for this.
- Reduced service: There is no automatic refund.
- Unclear tasks: Describe them as precisely as possible before the match.
After a job is completed, both parties can rate each other. Ratings help the community determine who is reliable, friendly, and fair.
Ratings are given on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and organized into categories. Reviews are only visible once both parties have submitted their ratings.
A no-show occurs when a confirmed participant fails to show up. Since a match is binding, clear rules apply in such cases.
- If the helper does not show up, the requester will receive a full refund.
- If the debtor fails to appear, the full amount is due.
- Repeated unreliable behavior may result in disciplinary action.
To ensure that VeeDoo remains fair for everyone, there are a few simple ground rules. They protect Needers, Helpers, and the entire community.
- No haggling over the price after the match.
- No cash payments outside the app.
- No bypassing of the platform.
- Treating one another with respect.
- Clear communication after the match.
- A job means a clear agreement.
Jobs must not be handled outside of VeeDoo in order to circumvent fees, rules, or payment processes. This protects both parties and ensures that the platform remains fair.
- Direct cash payment outside the app.
- Exchanging personal contact information to bypass the platform.
- Follow-up appointments outside of VeeDoo, even though the initial contact was made through VeeDoo.
Helpers and those in need act on their own initiative. Both sides must ensure that tasks can be carried out safely, legally, and realistically.
- Make sure working conditions are safe.
- Comply with legal regulations.
- Treat other people and other people's property with respect.
- Don't take on any dangerous, illegal, or shady jobs.
VeeDoo only works when jobs are clearly defined, payments are secure, and agreements are binding. The rules ensure that both those in need and helpers know what they're getting into.
Most jobs go off without a hitch. For the few cases where something goes wrong, we need clear procedures rather than endless discussions of individual cases.
Quality comes from the community.
VeeDoo connects people, secures the payment process, and sets clear rules. Fairness, respect, and reliability ensure that the platform works for both those in need and those offering help.
